• Interested in getting involved? Sure you are! The Bosco Tech Alumni Association is looking to expand membership. Not just for the sake of numbers ~ we’re looking for Tech alumni who would like to work in the best interest of the school and make a positive contribution. There’s many ideas on the burners, foundations being laid, and a new excitement in the air. Come be a part of keeping the momentum building and help us get & keep the proverbial ball rolling for future generations of Techmen. Our next meeting is scheduled for Thursday, November 15th @ 6:00 PM in Tech Library. Food & drinks will be served. We’re hoping you’ll be able to join us, see what’s going on, and hopefully hop on board.

• Interested in helping a young Tiger become a Techman? The Alumni Mentoring Program is in the early planning stages. We’re hoping to get the program up & running by mid year, but could use your help now.

• Got wheels? The annual Bosco Tech Car Show will be held on Thursday, March 20, 2008. We’d like to have a good showing of alumni vehicles ~ 2, 3, 4, 6, 18 wheelers or otherwise …Let’s help make the show an enjoyable success!

• The Alumni BBQ & Beer Garden will be in front of Tech Hall, directly under the gear during the Fall Open House on Saturday, November 17, 2007 from 10:00 AM ‘til 2:00 PM. Come visit the campus ~ walk around, take a tour, and get reacquainted with old friends & faculty members. Come by and grab a bite, check out our alumni merchandise & share some memories ~ and make new ones!

• Know of a future Techman? Extend an invitation to the Open House and inquire about our outstanding Summer School program for the youngsters!

• Keep in touch! Have you moved? Changed numbers? New Email? Take a few moments to call or Email the Alumni Office and update your contact info!

• Techmen of the past helping Tigers of the future. The 19th annual Alumni Association Golf Tournament will take place … on Friday, July 18, 2008 @ The Industry Hills Pacific Palms Resort Golf Club. As always ~ Tacos Cocos will be providing their usual delicious breakfast ~ making sure that everyone is well nourished prior to the 10:30 AM Shotgun Start… Course wide games & prizes will be in effect… Oscar Mursuli will be providing hand rolled cigars for those who enjoy a good smoke… The post tournament dinner will be on a par with last year’s feast… Both the live & silent auctions, as well as the raffle will have some very nice items… The weather will be hot & the drinks will be cold as we gather to not only enjoy a great day of golf & camaraderie ~ But to (most importantly) raise much needed funds to provide scholarships & financial assistance to current students who would otherwise be unable to attend Bosco Tech. Even if you’re not a golfer ~ join us for a day of good food…good friends…good times…all in support of a GREAT CAUSE!
