Program: Bosco Tech offers one of the most complete and extensive high school basketball programs in the San Gabriel Valley. The program stresses team and individual fundamentals, physical conditioning, discipline and basic skills that are designed to provide each student athlete with the opportunity to improve his knowledge of the game, compete on the interscholastic level, and develop leadership skills. The attention of our successful program provides our student athletes opportunities to play at the college level.
Freshmen: If you want to play basketball during your freshmen year,. tryout dates for this team begin following the conclusion of the fall sports programs (football, cross country). Levels of competition: Varsity, Junior Varsity and Freshman
Season Begins: : During the month of September we begin conditioning and practice sessions. Non-league games begin in November and league games start in January. Head coach David Ng and his staff guides the Tech in a very competitive Del Rey League that features opponents like Bishop Amat, Serra, St. Bernards and Bishop Montgomery. We invite you to come and see for yourself the excitement that is Tiger Basketball! Spring basketball begins in March and ends with summer games. All conditioning and practices are after school.

Summer Skills Camp: We conduct a Basketball Class during the summer school term. It runs from 1-3pm at a cost of $100. Camp is ideal for boys and girls, ages 10 - 18, who want to build on their basic skills of basketball in an organized atmosphere with skilled instructors. Each boy and girl will be taught the fundamentals of defense, shooting, rebounding, passing, and a whole lot more. You’ll practice these skills in both drill and game situations. Our camp will help you become a more effective basketball player, both as an individual and a team player. Call Coach David Ng(626-940-2109 for details).
