| The Department
Don Bosco Tech is a member of the California Interscholastic Federation (CIF) and the Catholic Athletic Association (CAA). The Tigers compete with other high schools in nine interscholastic sports: baseball, basketball, cross country, football, golf, soccer, tennis, track & field, and volleyball.
The Athletic Department is committed to providing a quality athletic program that enhances the overall educational experience of each student-athlete. The department stresses the positive values of commitment, hard work, self-discipline, dedication, and sportsmanship.
The department is headed by Jim McDonald, an experienced Salesian teacher and coach. His staff consists of dedicated coaches and educators who were selected on the basis of their demonstrated ability in and their knowledge of their sport. The Del Camino Athletic Association Leagues

Don Bosco Tech’s athletic teams participate in an association that fields two leagues: The Camino Real league and the Del Rey league. The sports played in the Camino Real league are baseball, basketball, and volleyball. The sports played in the Del Rey league are cross country, football, soccer, golf, tennis, and track. |
