- All students parking a vehicle on campus must register it and purchase
a parking permit from the Student Store. Parking costs $40 per year.
All Vehicles must display a parking permit decal. Vehicles are to be
parked in assigned areas only. A complete list of regulations will be
given to the student when a parking permit is purchased.
- Drivers must operate vehicles with good judgment, caution, and courtesy.
Drivers must always yield the right of way to pedestrians. The speed
limit is 10mph on school grounds, which includes all parking lots and
connecting roads. Imprper or inappropriate operation of any motor vehicle
on campus will not be tolerated. Reckless driving, speeding and/or any
other action which endangers the safety or property of others may be
cause for serious disciplinary action.
- Drivers are reminded that when transporing passengers, they and their
parents may be liable in case of an accident.
- Bosco students who are picked up or dropped off by drivers other than
Bosco students will be held responsible for the poor conduct of these
drivers. Parents are asked not to pick up students in the front administration
parking lot; instead they are asked to use the student lots on the west
side of the campus to pick up and drop off students. Parents and other
drivers are reminded to observe the no parking areas in front of the
school, including the bus stop.
- Driving or parking violations will be cited by the campus security
officer. Fines will be assessed for violations. Driving or parking violation
fines are to be paid to the Finance Office. Serious or repeated violations
may result in a recommendation to the Dean of Discipline that driving
privileges be suspended or reduced.
- Students cited for traffic or parking violations must pay the appropriate
fine within three (3) days following receipt of the citation. Students
whose fines have not been paid within the prescribed time period are
subject to additional disciplinary actions.
