Mission & Philosophy

Students build a robot

As a STEM-focused, college-preparatory high school, Don Bosco Technical Institute provides its students the knowledge and skills they need to thrive. Through a unique project-based curriculum, we offer opportunities for our students to gain command of current and emerging technologies, while benefiting from career exposures unavailable in traditional high schools.

Based on the teachings of St. John Bosco (“Don Bosco”), founder of the internationally respected Salesian Order, Bosco Tech brings out the best in young learners, while creating a welcoming environment that feels like home, school, church and playground for each student. As a learning community, we strive to cultivate graduates who are lifelong learners and critical thinkers, with a deep sense of faith, social justice and civic responsibility.

The Bosco Tech student is extremely well-rounded and prepared to lead in every endeavor, in college, career, and life. Our university-level equipment and coursework, coupled with our six Technology Majors prepare students for success in STEM-related fields in college and beyond. At Bosco Tech, we’re not worried about the next four years. We’re worried about the next 40 years.

Bosco Tech students today…leaders in STEM tomorrow.

Where the rolling hills of San Gabriel, Crown the old Camino Real. Golden dreams and hopes abounding
Guide our way with kindly light.
Bosco Tech, today we hail thee,
E'er thy memories treasured shall be.
