Computer Science & Electrical Engineering (CSEE)

Bosco Tech’s CSEE students complete a demanding, hands-on course load in both Computer Science and Electrical Engineering (CSEE).

Computer Science (CS) is the design of computers, computational processes and information transfer. CS engineers design and analyze software for many different applications, including networks, graphics, artificial intelligences and database systems. They design next-generation computer systems, computer networking, biomedical information systems, gaming systems, search engines, web browsers and computerized package distribution systems. Electrical Engineering (EE) focuses on the study and applications of electricity and magnetism.

Coursework & Projects

Freshman Year - Explore the programming behind your favorite computer game.
Sophomore Year - Build, test, and program an electronically controlled robotic vehicle that will follow your instructions to drive itself.
Junior Year - Design and program a working animated display of a popular toy (recent examples include Etch-a-Sketch, Domino Derby and Busy Box).
Senior Year - Design and build a guitar/headphone amplifier or complete a rigorous study in preparation for taking the AP Computer Science exam (sophomore through senior year).

Your Future in CSEE: College & Career

CSEE prepares students for a variety of careers. Whether it’s a motor for the latest electric car, a navigation system used in GPS devices, or a wind turbine power system for efficient energy production, an electrical engineer was involved in its design and manufacture. The electrical engineers of today may work on projects that include telecommunication, the operation of electric power stations or robotic system design.
