Black & Gold Gala 2016

Alumni, long-time instructors, and friends of the Tech celebrated the school’s accomplishments while honoring long-time instructors and generous supporters at the annual Black & Gold Gala on April 9.

Recognized for their many contributions were Fr. Thomas Prendiville, one-time Tech principal and president, Mr. Gene Burns, retired instructor and band director, and the Boeing Company.

Instructional expert and author Mr. Michael Hattar presented the Michael M. Hattar Excellence in Mathematics Scholarship to Jose Reyes, a member of the incoming freshman class, for his outstanding performance in the 2016 math competition.

Proceeds from the evening’s festivities and hugely popular live and silent auctions go directly to the Tech’s tuition assistance program, helping students achieve their goal of a Bosco Tech education.
