Explore & Create Workshops and Campus Tours Offered
ROSEMEAD, CA. – October 18, 2019 – Don Bosco Technical Institute (Bosco Tech) will host its Open House for prospective students and their families on Sunday, November 17, 2019, from 12 noon to 4 pm.
Middle school students are invited to tour the school’s extensive engineering and applied science labs and participate in Bosco Tech’s signature Explore and Create workshops. Offered to boys in grades 6–8, these complimentary sessions provide the opportunity to experience the school’s uniquely integrated, hands-on science and engineering education. Space is limited, so reservations are needed for these exciting workshops.
“Open House is the perfect opportunity for prospective students and their families to learn more about all Bosco Tech has to offer,” said Bosco Tech Principal Jeff Krynen. “They can see firsthand how the school has earned its reputation as a premier college-preparatory, STEM-focused high school.”
Information about the school’s six technology programs also will be available, including details about the new Biological, Medical & Environmental Technology (BMET) program. BMET courses will prepare students for advanced post-secondary studies in health care, environmental engineering and biomedical research. It joins the school’s existing engineering majors: Architecture & Construction Engineering (ACE); Computer Science & Electrical Engineering (CSEE); Integrated Design, Engineering and Art (IDEA); Media Arts & Technology (MAT); and Materials Science, Engineering & Technology (MSET).
For more information about the Open House or to participate in a workshop, contact Director of Admissions John Garcia at firstname.lastname@example.org or 626-940-2009. Details about financial aid and shadow tours will be available during the event.
