Bosco Tech Summer Scholar Program has been introducing current 6th and 7th grade boys from local middle schools to the world of science, technology, engineering, and math in a unique setting that only Bosco Tech can offer. The Summer Scholar Program appeals to students that have a strong interest in science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM), while having the ultimate shadow experience of seeing what it is like for many of our Bosco Tech students.
This intensive five-week program exposes students to applied STEM education, normally taught at Bosco Tech and college-level laboratories with a challenging curriculum that will be fun and engaging. Students will enjoy much of what our campus has to offer, while sharing this experience with new friends.
The requirements and admission process for the Summer Tech Scholar program are as followed:
Engineers are the marriage of science and mathematics. We take those two things, we put them together and we create everything around us, from your iPad to this building we’re sitting in to the medium that we’re broadcasting to people today to the houses we live in to the cars we drive. They are all engineering products. – ExxonMobile Chairman & CEO Rex Tillerson.
Bosco Tech Summer Scholars program is for boys entering 7th and 8th grade that demonstrate a strong interest and ability in the STEM related subjects. Students must apply and be accepted to program.
