For nearly 60 years, Bosco Tech has been a demonstrated leader in education, successfully empowering young people to succeed. We offer a unique combination of advantages that no other school can:
Stellar university acceptance rates
In addition to completing a full college-preparatory curriculum designed to exceed the entrance requirements of the UC/CSU systems, Bosco Tech students are the only ones in California who are simultaneously completing a fully integrated course load in a STEM field, making them stand apart when applying to universities and colleges. In recent years, our students have been accepted by universities like Stanford, USC, Harvard, Notre Dame and UC Berkeley.
Four-year individualized counseling program
We provide a customized counseling program that uniquely guides the individual student and his parents through the high school years into university studies.
Partnerships in STEM professions
As industry recognizes the need for STEM-based learning, almost 60 years worth of Bosco Tech alumni are assuming their roles as leaders in technology and innovation and are returning to their alma mater to offer support and professional guidance to today’s students.
Recognized name in industry
Our alumni testify that the Bosco Tech name has opened doors for them professionally, even beyond their university degrees.
Lab space unparalleled among high schools
With 60,000 square feet of lab space, students have access to advanced equipment allowing them to gain hands-on knowledge of science and technology-related fields. Each of our fully-integrated technology components offers state-of-the art laboratory environments, computers and tools purposed for advanced research and study.
Sense of brotherhood in students
Through our hugely successful programs like Big Brothers, One City, and Friends of Don Bosco, students form lasting friendships that will last a lifetime while gaining opportunities to develop leadership skills.
World-wide recognition of a Salesian education
Operating in 124 countries, the Salesian system of education is respected internationally and viewed as a globalized education. The preventative system, upon which Salesian education is based, creates an atmosphere where students are personally known and cared for by their instructors, and encouraged toward achievement.
Bosco Tech has nine noted competitive athletic teams, award-winning bands, a thriving Student Life ministry and numerous campus clubs and organizations tailored to students’ individual interests and goals.
Bosco Tech students are frequently honored in the surrounding communities for their outstanding contributions and service. Through successful outreach programs, students tutor and coach local children earning kudos from city officials and local leaders.
While we welcome students of all beliefs, the Bosco Tech community encourages the development of the spiritual life. Students participate in retreats, campus ministry and service projects that provide opportunities for personal growth, discipleship and outreach.
