Safety Updates for 12-15-15

Good morning Parents and Bosco Tech Family,

As you are probably aware by now, the Los Angeles Unified School District received a bomb threat, which prompted the closure of all LAUSD schools today. We have been in communication with the LA County Sherriff’s Department who have assured us that they do not see an impact in any of the areas they service. At this time, there is no threat to Bosco Tech and campus operations are normal.

Students, faculty and staff are safe and we will be in session regular hours today. We are taking added precautions, such as posting additional staff at school entrances and having our maintenance department being extra vigilant during added rounds of the campus. Please remember, we are always a closed campus during regular school hours. We are restricting access to the campus from any non-staff visiting adults.

We will provide updates as they are needed to current families via email.

Thank you,
Xavier Jimenez
