The Bosco Tech Soccer ProgramProgram: The soccer program was established in 1964 and has produced the school’s most successful interscholastic teams. The soccer teams have captured 18 league titles and have appeared in the CIF playoffs in 32 of the 39 seasons of their existence, including a string of 20 consecutive CIF appearances. In 1995, the soccer program brought home the school’s first CIF championship for Division V. In addition, three Tiger soccer players have earned CIF Player of the Year honors.

Levels of Competition: Varsity, Junior Varsity

Conditioning Session: October to early November

Practice Season: November through February for the regular season

Competitive Season: extends from late November to February

Tournaments: Tech Winter Classic (JV, Varsity)

Head Coach: Diego Back is the Tigers’ Head Coach. He began his coaching career in 2003 when he served as an assistant JV Coach at St. John Bosco. In 2010 he was the assistant on the varsity level, which won the Trinity League Championship and made it to the CIF Semi-Finals of Division I Soccer. Coach Back will be assisted by faculty member Rene Romero.
