Music Program

Students build a robot

Bosco Tech’s well-known, award-winning music program aims to provide students with a life-long appreciation for the arts.
It is our priority to support students in realizing their full potential while providing opportunities to enjoy a well-rounded education that includes the arts. A college-geared approach to education through action, competency-based assessments, and the incorporation of technology in traditional settings all separate us from other high schools’ music programs. We respect and honor our past traditions, alumni, and community and keep focused on creating the future leaders of tomorrow.

Bosco Tech is home to the award-winning:

  • Jazz Bands
  • Percussion Ensemble

Our dedicated musicians provide more than 30 performances a year for the athletic program, school, and local communities throughout Los Angeles and the greater San Gabriel Valley. Through participation in the music program, students have the opportunity to travel, compete nationally, work on technique under the instruction of special-guest professional musicians, and develop leadership skills as section leaders or even drum major.

Participation in the music program provides students the opportunity to serve the school community by putting their talent into practice. In addition to performing at all sports rallies, the band performs at league football and basketball games and our annual Open House; the band also has opportunities to play at events throughout the San Gabriel Valley. Several band members also provide their services at student body liturgies throughout the year.

Band Boosters 

The Music Boosters are a group of dedicated parents focused on providing the best Music Education experience for students at Bosco Tech. Our Music Boosters meet twice a month to organize, plan events, and fundraisers while developing long-lasting friendships that extend while beyond your time at Bosco. We are always looking for new parents to join our team to support fundraising efforts and raise awareness in the community.
