Summer Scholars Program 2025

For rising 7TH & 8TH grade GIRLS & BOYS

Our immersive 5-week Summer Scholars Program combines a student’s curiosity with fun hands-on, project-based learning centered around Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math. Students will apply theory to practice while working collaboratively to explore various STEM related topics and projects. Summer Scholars who enroll at Bosco Tech will receive a one-time $500 Summer Scholar Award to be applied towards their freshman year tuition.

Dates: June 16 - July 18, 2025
Time: 8:00 AM - 10:45 AM
Cost: $450 (includes application processing fee)

Application Deadline: May 30, 2025 (space is limited)

How to Apply

Application Requirements

1. 3.0 GPA with strong work habits, outstanding conduct, and commitment to all five weeks of the program.
2. ONE recommendation from either the Principal, Math Teacher or Science Teacher (requested via online application).
3. A current report card or transcript (requested via online application).
4. Parents/Guardians must complete the course registration and sign the Media Release Form.
5. Submit the non-refundable fee of $450 (includes application processing fee). Payment is due online at the time of application submission.

How to Apply

New Summer Scholar: If you are new to our Summer Scholars Program, you will first need to create a FACTS account to access our application portal. Upon account creation, you will receive an email containing a verification link. Once verified, please login to your portal to access the application using the following steps:

Click on the "Create a New Student Application" button
Enter Student Information
Under "Apply to" > Grade > select either:
- "07 Summer Scholar Program" (for current 6th grade boys & girls)
- "08 Summer Scholar Program" (for current 7th grade boys & girls)
Under "Application" > select 2025 Summer Scholars Application"
Complete and submti application along with payment. by Friday, May 30, 2025

Interested in a Full-Day Program?
For families interested in a full-day program, Bosco Tech will also be offering an afternoon Sports Camp exclusively for Summer Scholars only. To register, simply follow the application instructions below. This afternoon program is optional and students need to be enrolled in our morning Summer Scholars Program to register.

Afternoon Sports Camp (Must be registered Summer Scholar)

A multi-sports camp gives Summer Scholars the opportunity to experience a variety of sports in a safe and supportive environment. Participants will be introduced to the essentials of each sport while emphasizing maximum participation, sportsmanship, teamwork, and above all fun! Open to 7th & 8th Grade boys and girls.

*Students need to be enrolled in our morning Summer Scholars Program to register for this option.

Dates: June 16 - July 18, 2025
Time: 11:45 AM - 2:45 PM
Cost: $200

How to register:

Login to your existing FACTS Application Account
On the application homepage, click on the "Create a New Student Application"
Enter student information and the grade he/she will be in next year
- For example, select "07- Summer Scholar Program" if your son/daughter is a current 6th grader
Under "Application" Select > "2025 SS- 2025 Summer Scholar Sports Camp (Only only for Summer Scholars)"
You will then have the option to cooy data from your Summer Scholars application into the Sports Camp application to avoid rekeying the same information. To do so, simply click the "Continue, Copy Application Data" option and begin your application!
