High School Summer School 2027

CREDIT RECOVERY CLASSES - 5 UNITS (SEMESTER-LONG) CLASSES: $400

These courses are designed for students who need to make up or repeat a course that they have already taken in high school grades 9-12. These 5-week classes meet for daily two-and-a-half-hour sessions at one of the following time periods:7:45 AM - 10:15 AM, 10:30 AM - 1:00 PM, or 1:30 PM - 4:00 PM.

Not all courses are available at all times; see the table below for details. Each period of each class earns 5 units (1 semester) of credit. First or second-semester sections are available for all classes. Please specify which semester you need on the enrollment form. The cost of each class is $400.

**Note that classes that do not reach a minimum enrollment of 10 students will be canceled. A refund, minus the FACTS processing fee (3.05%) and application ($22) will be returned to your credit card.

ENRICHMENT CLASSES - 10 UNIT (YEAR-LONG) CLASSES: $800

These classes are designed for high school students in grades 9-12 who want to earn credit for a year-long math class that they have not yet taken. Students can also take this class if they need to make up (repeat) both semesters of the same math class. These 5-week classes (June 21 - July 23) meet from 7:45 AM - 1:00 PM. The cost of each class is $800.

**Note that classes that do not reach a minimum enrollment of 10 students will be canceled.

Integrated Math II: Students develop a conceptual understanding of mathematical relationships. Topics include the concepts of formal proof, exploring the properties of two-and three-dimensional objects, working within the rectangular coordinate system to verify geometric relationships, and proving basic theorems about circles. Students also use the language of set theory to compute and interpret probabilities for compound events, and trigonometric basic tools for analyzing and measuring right triangles, general triangles, and complex shapes.

Integrated Math III: Includes content standards from traditional courses in Algebra 1, Geometry, Algebra 2, and more. Primarily focuses on Algebra 2, but delves into other facets of advanced algebra skills such as systems of equations, advanced polynomials, imaginary and complex numbers, quadratics, and concepts and includes the study of trigonometric functions.

Pre-Calculus: A study of functions and their graphs; polynomial and rational functions; exponential and logarithmic functions; trigonometric functions; analytic trigonometry; applications of trigonometry; linear systems and matrices; sequences and series; analytic geometry;  limits and an introduction to calculus. 

REVIEW/PREP CLASSES - 3 UNIT (ONE QUARTER-LONG) CLASSES: $225

(Incoming DBTI Freshmen Only) Introductory Algebra (5-week in-person course from June 21 - July 23, 8:45 AM - 10:15 AM): Designed for those entering high school in the fall who want or need additional review work in Mathematics.  For students who want a solid foundation in Algebra in preparation for Integrated Math I. Includes a general review of basic mathematical operations with emphasis on factors, fractions, decimals, and the use of formulas to solve problems as well as an introduction to elementary algebra and simple equations, addition and subtraction of like terms, signed numbers, and basic operations with algebraic equations. Concludes with an introduction to linear equations, factoring, the multiplication of binomial expressions, and other basic algebraic concepts.

AP Physics Prep (3-week asynchronous online course, beginning no later than Monday, June 21): This course is designed only for Bosco students who plan to take AP Physics during senior year, but have not yet taken a calculus course. It covers the two basic operations in calculus: derivatives and integrals. It is not equivalent to any calculus course, nor can it be used as credit recovery for a physics course. Requires weekly testing. //the multiplication of binomial expressions, and other basic algebraic concepts.

AP Chemistry Prep (5-week asynchronous online course from June 21 - July 23): This course is designed only for Bosco students who plan to take AP Chemistry during their junior year, but did not take Honors Chemistry the year before. This class will cover concepts from Honors Chemistry including, properties of matter, dimensional analysis, chemical nomenclature, atomic structure, the periodic table, chemical bonds, and others to give them the fundamental knowledge necessary to succeed in AP Chemistry. This is not equivalent to any chemistry course, and it cannot be used as credit recovery for any chemistry course.

Bosco Tech parents log in with username and password, create a summer school application, select classes, review and submit with payment.  Complete your registration by Friday,  June 11, 2027.

For Non-Bosco Tech students- click the Create an Account button below. Upon account creation, you will receive an email containing a verification link. Once your email address has been verified:

1. Create a New Student Application and fill in all of your student's information. 

• Under "Apply to" select the either 09, 10, 11, or 12- DBTI High School Summer (grade level should be the grade your student will start in the fall). Select "2026- SS-Bosco Tech High School Summer School Porgram under "Application" and select Submit.
• Select "Start Application".
• Read through the course options listed under "Instructions & Resources."
• Fill in the requested information over the next several screens and then select Save & Next at the bottom of each page.
• On the Class Selection, check those courses that your student will be taking. At the bottom of that screen indicate how many classes were selected and the total cost.  

2. Payment is due online at the time of application submission.  

3. Complete your registration by Friday,  June 11, 2027.

4. Before classes begin, you will receive a confirmation of your registration and of the times for classes.

5. We will also contact you as soon as possible if we are forced to cancel a class or change the time a class will meet.

1. How will I know if a class is canceled? 
   • We will contact families as soon as possible if we are forced to cancel or change the times of any class/sport.
2. Who do I contact if I need to withdraw from a class?

   • Withdrawals from classes/sports must be notified in writing via email to Mr. Robert
     Godinez at summerschool@boscotech.edu AND to the Business Office/Mrs. Doris Longoria (dlongoria@boscotech.edu) BEFORE the deadlines stated in our refund policy below.

3. What is the refund policy?

   • A refund minus FACTS credit card processing fee (3.05%) and application processing fee ($22) will be given for classes that are canceled due to insufficient enrollment.

   • Refunds minus FACTS credit card processing fee (3.05%) and application processing fee ($22) are given for withdrawals made before June 14, 2027.

   • A 50% refund minus FACTS credit card processing fee (3.05 %) and application processing fee ($22) will be given for withdrawals between June 14 and June 18, 2027.

   • NO refunds will be given for withdrawals made after June 21, 2027.

   • *PLEASE NOTE: Requests for refunds by check will not be processed before July 16, 2027.
