Head Coach - eric alvarenga

Coach Eric Alvarenga brings 13 years of coaching experience as he enters his second season leading the Tigers soccer program.

Coach Alvarenga’s coaching philosophy centers on development first, with a competitive edge. He is committed to helping student-athletes grow both on and off the field while emphasizing resilience, accountability, discipline, respect, and character. His goal is to create an environment where players are challenged to improve, compete with purpose, and support one another throughout the process.

Looking ahead to the upcoming season, Coach Alvarenga is excited about a young but experienced returning group that is ready to embrace the challenges ahead. His message to his players is: “Control what you can control, trust the process, stay together, and keep pushing forward.”

Beyond coaching, Coach Alvarenga is a proud father who finds great joy in being a “girl dad.” Coaching his daughter for the past three years has further motivated him to continue his coaching journey and make a positive difference in the lives of the athletes he works with. For Coach Alvarenga, coaching is about more than developing better players—it is about making a meaningful impact, one athlete at a time.
